Why are your product's packaging for 800g rather than 1kg?

The decision for offering staples in 800g rather than 1 kg is primarily driven by shipping costs. Courier companies have specific weight slabs for shipping charges, such as 0.5kg, 1kg, and 2kg and more. When we package 800g of a staple, along with the packaging material (approximately 100g), the total weight falls under the 1kg slab. However, if we were to provide 1kg of the staple, even a slight addition like 100g for packaging would push the total weight into the 2kg slab. This would significantly increase the shipping fees i.e. ₹120-150. We want to avoid placing that burden on our members.

By offering 800g packs, we can keep the shipping costs lower, making our products more accessible and affordable for you. We hope this explanation clarifies our decision. We always strive to balance product quality, quantity, affordability, and sustainability.
