Please share the recipe on how to make vegan chocolate sauce?

To make the chocolate sauce using a double boiler method, follow these steps:

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons cacao butter

  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder

  • 3 tablespoons jaggery powder (or any other sweetener of your choice)

  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or any other plant-based milk)


Instructions:

  1. Fill a small saucepan with water and place it on the stove over medium heat. Bring the water to a simmer.

  2. Add the cacao butter to a heatproof bowl that fits securely over the saucepan.

  3. Place the bowl over the simmering water, ensuring that the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.

  4. Allow the cacao butter to melt slowly, stirring occasionally with a spatula or whisk.

  5. Once the cacao butter has melted completely, add the cacao powder and jaggery powder to the bowl. Stir well to combine until the sweetener is dissolved.

  6. Gradually pour the almond milk while stirring continuously to create a smooth and creamy texture.

  7. Continue to heat the mixture, stirring occasionally, until everything is well combined and the sauce is smooth.

  8. Remove the bowl from the heat and let the chocolate sauce cool slightly.

  9. As the sauce cools, it will thicken. You can adjust the consistency by adding more almond milk and stirring well if needed.

  10. Transfer the chocolate sauce to a jar or container and let it cool completely before using or storing it in the refrigerator.
