In general day-to-day life, what is the safe limit to intake jaggery?

If you are trying to heal a disease, then no need to consume jaggery separately outside of the meal plan suggested by Satvic Movement. If you incorporate it into your recipes, that is just enough for you. If you crave something sweet, you can have 1 teaspoon of jaggery as dessert, but not more.

However, there is no specific consumption limit to it. All you need to do is replace the sugar with jaggery as a sweetener. You can have it separately if you crave something sweet or if Dates, Raisins, or other natural options are unavailable.
