How to clean the nut milk bag after making nut milk or juice? Are there any tips for removing stains and greasiness?

To ensure your nut milk bag stays clean and hygienic for many uses, follow these simple steps:

  1. Turn It Inside Out: The first step is to turn your nut milk bag inside out. This helps to expose the areas where most of the pulp and residue collect. Rinse it thoroughly under running water to remove any loose particles.
  2. Soak In Warm Water & Bioenzyme Dish Wash: Fill a bowl with warm water. Add a small amount of safe, bioenzyme-based dishwashing liquid. As it’s used to strain or sieve edible items, we suggest you not to use a chemical based dish wash.
  3. Let It Soak: Allow the bag to soak in the soapy water for about 20 minutes. This will help loosen any remaining residue and stains.
  4. Hand Wash Gently: After soaking, gently hand wash the bag in the soapy water. Use your fingers to rub the fabric together to remove any stubborn spots.
  5. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the bag thoroughly under running water until all the soap is gone.
  6. Air Dry: Hang the bag to air dry completely. Avoid using a dryer, as the heat can damage the delicate fabric.

Addressing Stains:

  1. Some staining is inevitable with regular use. While you can try soaking the bag in a solution of baking soda and water, complete stain removal may not be possible. When not in use, store your nut milk bag in a clean, dry place.
